Whats the coolest baby shower gift you ever recieved?
My cousin is pregnant with a little girl and she did soooo much for me when I was pregnant and also helped a lot when my baby was born. I def will be there for her with her little one and have been very close with her throughout this pregnancy but I want to get her somthing really cool and diff for her shower. I got the bassinet off her registry but also want to get something really cool. Like I saw some personalized binkies and bejeweled baby shoes lol but what are some other ideas? I got a really cool set of little boxes, one for the baby’s first pair of shoes, one for the baby’s first locks of hair from its first hair cut, & one for baby teeth. They all fit inside eachother and had cute little sayings and animation on them. I thought it was a really sweet idea since most mom’s like to save these things but don’t actually have a place to put them.

ok so the love of my life, my missing puzzle piece, my knight in shining armor is perfect! i love my baby to death, everything he does is perfect, no complaints no arguing. BUT hes freek’n DENSE i’ll be like “oh my god this ring is so beautiful, baby this ring is so nice isnt it?” and i’ll show it to him and he’ll be like “yeah thats nice, oh hey let me show you this new video game that just came out!” and he’ll just navigate the page to something that he thinks is cool, now i can except that he cant take a hint like that so whatever. so when our anniversary was coming up i sent him the picture of that ring and told him again how beautiful it is, and i even threw in my ring size (how can you miss that hint?) well he did, so it got to the point were i was sending him 12 different links to a bunch of rings that i liked, that were already set to my ring size, and were below $40 the message named YOU SHOULD GET THIS FOR ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!! think he got that? NOPE.
now i’m not one of those high maintenance girls who asks for shoes and jewelry and all that stuff, heck when i want to go out for diner the most expensive place i ask to go is friendlies, but i would love a ring to know he still cares. i finally snapped one day and i asked him how hard it was to just order a simple ring that meant so much to me? BTW he orders 3 games a month (all over $60) so this shouldnt have been such a huge deal. i literally had to yell at him BUY ME A RING for him to finally order the ring, now this totally ruined the whole point of this. i wanted him to get me something nice from the heart, but now its just “this is the ring he got me cuz i told him so” so i told him to cancel it and he did. so because of this whole ordeal i’ve learned he will NEVER take a hint. but he ordered a ring for me for valentines day, and he freek’n told me what it was and when he was going to give it to me and (to me the surprise part of a gift is the most important) i’m not even looking forward to it, this whole thing just totally drained me. i want to get exited when he gets me things (which will NOT be often) but hes so freek’n dense he wont get me something even close to what i want without me picking it out myself.
i want to marry this dumb jerk some day LOL and this whole ordeal has shown me that getting an engagement ring will be so difficult. i want everything to be perfect and if he gets me something i dont like (me being all controlling) will prob end up making him take it back and pick out another one, and heck! i might even have to pick it out for him. i dont want to pick out my own engagement ring >.<
now i at least want him to do something with the valentines ring, how to i get him to engrave it? i tried telling him that engraving rings is so romantic and sweet but i dont know if he’ll take the hint. i want to like this gift, but i have a feeling i wont, if he were to engrave it then that would change my feelings on it, cuz hes personalizing this ring so it’ll mean more.

How to i get him to put more of himself into a gift? You simply tell him what you want. Say “I want this for my birthday or this for christmas or You should buy me this. Say out loud, “Hint, Hint”.
In the future what should i do differentially? You communicate what you want and he fixes it. Guys love to fix things.
Here’s the biggest problem I see with you & him.
1.He is not interested in a Ring, when you are talking about them, so he changes the subject or page to something he likes. “He’s being sarcastic”.
2.What you will have to change is this. Stop hinting to him, he does not take the hints. It’s a lack of direct communication.
3.When he does not stay or do something you want, it’s your fault, you failed to communicate your feelings or needs properly, because you fell back into the “Hinting” phase same as before.
4.Take your time and discover what works best.
5.The old saying go’s “Women are crazy & Men are stupid”.
The reason that phrase came about is from the lack of communication between girls & guys.
